2D Grade Control for Motor Graders

2D machine control helps you to achieve tight tolerances and a smooth finished grade with precise vertical guidance by Calculate the cross-slope of the blade using two angle sensors and a rotation sensor. Adding a laser receiver or a sonic tracer gives you the ability to measure elevation when required. Additionally, when using the a sonic tracer, the system allows for stringline, previous pass, or curb and gutter tracing

2D Grade control System

Key System Features:

The Trimble® GCS900 Grade Control System with automatic blade control maximizes Grader performance.

  • CB450 or CB460 full colour graphical control box with internal light bars
  • Lift and tilt automatic blade control for controlling both the elevation and slope of the blade
  • Linked mode operation which ties the lift and tilt functions together for greater speed and accuracy
  • 3-5 mm vertical accuracies
  • Systems are easily upgradeable to 3D

GS900 2D

Using the 2D system or a grade laser to improve the efficiency and productivity of your motor grader on projects such as:

  • Road and highway projects
  • Land reclamation projects
  • Dam and reservoir construction
  • New infrastructure projects

Configurations

Cross Slope
Cross slope system use two angle sensor and rotation sensor to control the constant blade slope.

Single Elevation plus Cross Slope
Single Control System uses a laser or sonic receiver to control the lift of the machine blade for flat, slope work and finished grading

Dual Elevation
Dual control system that uses two laser or sonic receivers for higher accuracy lift control. Blade edge can be controlled independently or linked
